In the spirit of love on Valentine’s Day, expect plenty of joy and goodies! Taxify Nigeria, leading ride-hailing service provider, has been showing plenty of love to its customers today.
The taxi service has been delivering cupcakes cakes to its customers who use its app. And best part is that you can make an order for somebody elsewhere and it would still be delivered!

All you have to do is get the app; click on the love icon on the app; and then make your order for cup cakes. Within a short period, Taxify would route you free cupcakes!
Why Cup Cakes?
Apparently Taxify held a poll to decide on what to share on Valentine’s Day. And its followers on social media voted overwhelmingly that they wanted cakes. The other option was flowers. And admittedly, cup cakes are much better option!

A New Level in CRM
This gesture signals a new level of Customer Relationship Management and the bid to secure unwavering brand loyalty.
Customer Intimacy is a strategy mostly used by companies who aim to keep loyal customers by making them feel like a ‘part of the family’. They cultivate a familiarity with their clientele and tend to be on a first name basis with them.

Taxify Only Delivered Cakes To Lagos and Abuja
Unfortunately all good things have to come to an end, or at least have to be restricted. Taxify restricted the cup cake delivery to only people in Lagos and Abuja. Plus, there was a time limit for the distribution of the free cakes.
In Lagos, delivery was done between 10am and 12pm today, and delivery is presently ongoing for those in Abuja. But the offer ends by 3pm today. Too bad.
