A lot happened on Nigeria’s social media space this week. And so, taking stock of these happenings from time to time is worth the effort. Today, we bring you two interesting highlights of the week!
President Muhammadu Buhari Described Nigerian Youths as Lazy
While delivering a keynote address at the Commonwealth Business Forum in London, President Muhammadu Buhari was quoted to have said that many Nigerian youths wants everything free without doing anything.
More than 60 per cent of the population is below the age of 30. A lot of them have not been to school and they are claiming that Nigeria has been an oil producing country, therefore they should sit and do nothing and get housing, healthcare and education free.
The statement has since attracted lots of criticisms from angry Nigerian youths.

Celebrities Campaign for Tobi After Insults from Cee-c
Big Brother Naija 2018 housemate, Cee-c, has verbally dressed down fellow housemate, Tobi, challenging him to a fight.
Cee-c accused Tobi of gossiping about her with other housemates, daring him to talk right before her instead of gossiping. She dared him to a fight and threatened to deal with him outside the BBNaija house. As a result, many Nigerian celebrities have pledged their support and started campaigning for Tobi to win.
