This initiative was launched as a result of collaborative efforts between the Presidential Committee on the North-East Initiative (PCNI) and the Social Investment Office of the Office of the Vice President, the Adamawa State Government, American University of Nigeria (Yola), and International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
The Innovation Hub would be providing key innovative and tech support as well as access to basic human development activities in order to ensure sustainable peace and stimulating socio-economic growth in the region.
The Hub will also help to connect affected people with innovators, investors, venture capitalists and tech companies that would provide an immediate solution to humanitarian challenges faced in that region and one of such efforts by the hub is the commencement of the North-East Makeathon which started in October 2017.
Talk to me.
As much as the facilitators are here to impart knowledge, they are also here to listen to challenges and understand viewpoints.
