Orange Launches its New “Women Start” Acceleration Program for Female Entrepreneurs

The accelerator (like every other Orange Fab France program) is aimed at helping women founders or co-founders of startups form business partnerships with market lines from Orange or Orange partners in France and abroad. The startup’s management will undergo training and mentorship during the acceleration phase with the support of internal and external mentors. The program will also elevate startups and encourage them to go international.

Startups would be selected over the summer and they would be chosen based on; a female founder or co-founder, the marketed/marketable product or service put forward by the female entrepreneurs which can cut across any area, innovative solutions in the digital world.

Startups should also ensure they belong to any of the following categories – Client experience, Digital Business, Connected Objects, IOT, Personal Data Management & Big Data, Cloud Services & Technologies, Aggregation of content ( Games, videos…), FinTech, Cybersecurity, Education, Artificial intelligence, and Health.

Selected startups would be receiving the support of internal and external mentors, funding of €15,000, and access to a well-equipped workspace (which houses the Group’s research and innovation teams.)

The acceleration program is expected to begin in September, but application would be open until 24th June 2018. Interested startups can click here to apply.

Orange Fab is the first corporate accelerator network in the world aimed at cross-acceleration and internationalization within the startups that they support. The program is also involved with 14 Orange Fabs from around the world.
