The 15th edition of the CFA’s Startups Hangout is here. CFA’s Startups Hangout is a popular monthly meet-up for tech enthusiasts. It is a platform where entrepreneurs meet, network, learn, and grow.
Scheduled to hold on July 12, this is the third hangout this year. Previous editions held in April and June 2018. The hangout usually brings together the best minds in the Nigerian tech industry to share insights on tech trends and developments.

But unlike previous editions, the July edition of CFA’s Startups Hangout aims to pick the brains of an important personality. Themed “An Evening with Obafela Bank-Olemoh”, the meet-up focuses on the role and influence of the current Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Education.
With over 20 years experience in professional and social services, Obafela is important not just for his experience in education, but for his knowledge of tech.

Mr. Obafela has been instrumental in the development of ICT education in Lagos State for over the last 3 years. Under the auspices of his office, the #CodeLagos initiative was launched to train Lagos residents on coding. In 2018, #CodeLagos shared that its ambition is to train over 1 million people coding by 2030.
The meetup is set to hold at 53, Oladipo Bateye Road, Off Adekunle Fajuyi Way, GRA Ikeja, Lagos. Attendance for the event is by invitation and the invite is free.
