Tech4Her Africa, a social enterprise that aims at expanding economic opportunities for women and girls in Africa by enabling them in Science, Technology, Engineering, Entrepreneurship, Mathematics leveraging ICT, has emerged winner of the Silicon Valley’s AngelHack Hackathon hosted at Impact Hub, Ikoyi, Lagos State.
This is the first Hackathon organized by the AngelHack Hackathon in Africa.

The Tech4Her Africa team, led by Mrs. Elizabeth Edwards, its founder, was shortlisted to represent Africa at the Global Demo Day to hold at Silicon Valley, United States. Also joining Teck4Her Africa are other winners from 50 cities around the world for the 12 weeks Angel Hackcelerator program.
The team developed Tatafo App- Watson AI-based app that helps university students access information and resources instantly at a click.
Tech4Her Africa’s vision is to increase the earning potential of up to African women by 50% using ICT. While its mission is to enable 5,000,000 marginalized women in Nigeria to access Education & Mentoring using a mobile phone by 2030.
