The global tech giant which celebrated its 20th year recently, used its “Made by Google” event to exhibit its range of hardware and cutting-edge gadgets.
Google Pixel 3 and 3 XL
Currently Google’s flagship smartphone devices, the Google Pixel 3 and 3 XL are not only exceptional Android devices, they also rival the best of Apple and Samsung. Both devices come with larger screen-to-body ratio than their predecessors (Pixel 2 and 2 XL). The Pixel 3 comes with a 5.5-inch OLED display while Pixel 3 XL comes equipped with a 6.3-inch OLED display.

Both devices also come with 4gb RAM, water resistance and wireless charging feature. The camera (arguably the second most important feature of smartphones after storage space) does not disappoint as users of both devices would have access to 2 front-facing camera of 12-megapixel camera lenses. They also have the same main camera of 12.2-megapixel with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) which captures better wide-angle selfies, hands-free selfies, better night shots, and better motion pictures.
The only major difference between both smartphones is that the Pixel 3 XL is bigger and has a notch in its display (just like the new wave of iPhones) while the smaller Pixel 3 is notch-less with top and bottom bezels. Cost is also another difference as the Pixel 3 starts at $799 while Pixel 3 XL goes for about $899. Shipment of the new phones will start on October 18.
Although this device didn’t get any stage time, its is one of the vital products Nigerians can relate with.
In the wake of series of complains about cable/satellite tvs, a Chromecast is definitely an option. Not only can the 2018 Chromecast handle 4K resolutions with HDR color technology, it also supports for faster 5GHz Wi-Fi networks.
Other Announced Devices
