Office Tour: Sneak Peek of the Lekki Headquarters of Akin Alabi’s Nairabet

Aside startups, many Nigerian companies usually don’t share details of what their offices look like. There are so many companies we’d love to see, tour and get a feel of their property but we can’t, for many reasons. But Nairabet just bulked that trend.

Akin Alabi, CEO and founder of Nairabet recently gave his followers a sneak peek into the company’s new headquarters and how it operates.

I got inspired to do this after @OgbeniDipo tweeted on progress.

My first office was my room. Then rented a shop. Then a duplex and then extended to the next duplex.

The majestic Nairabet HQ is located in Igbo Efon in Lekki, Lagos State. The building has four floors and, importantly, a penthouse (we’ll get to that later).

Now I checked keenly for information about the building, but sadly details were scarce. But according to the tweet’s by Mr Alabi, the HQ has a reception, houses a 24 hour customer care and call center, the CEO’s office, and the penthouse is the “faaji” or “enjoyment” spot.
