TechCrunch startup battlefield competition is geared towards looking for “Sub-Saharan Africa’s Most Promising Startup.’ It is also in the hunt for its best innovators, makers, and technical entrepreneurs.
Hosted by popular online tech news medium, TechCrunch, Startup Battlefield is one of the world’s most famous startup competitions.

The competition targets early-stage companies. To be eligible, startups must be launching to the public for the first time and have little to no prior press exposure.
