The Executive Secretary of the Lagos State Empowerment Trust Fund (LSETF), Mr. Akintunde Oyebode, has just been appointed as Special Adviser, Investment, Trade and Innovations to the Ekiti State Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi. The appointment was announced on twitter via the Governor’s handle.
A trained economist, Akintunde currently serves as the executive secretary of the LSETF, a fund established to provide financial support to residents of Lagos State for job, wealth creation and to tackle unemployment.
Under his leadership, the organisation has been strengthening the institutional capacity of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) across the state. It has also held two successful hackathons to forge out technology-based solutions to problems in the state.
Prior to that, he had worked as a Research Assistant at the Lagos Business School for two years. He then went on to spend over a decade in various banking roles with First City Monument Bank (FCMB) and Stanbic IBTC Bank.
Now he would bring his over 15 years of experience in the banking and trade industry to his new role as SA on Investment, Trade and Innovations.
He would be charged with helping the Governor make decisions that would serve as important drivers for growth and development of the state and further position the present administration for effective service delivery.
We at Technext say congratulations to Mr Akintunde Oyebode on his new role.
