It is no longer news that technology has permeated into most of our daily routines and in the foreseeable future, everything we do would revolve around one form of it or another. To this end, the organisers of the Engineering Summit Africa has opened up registration to everyone who wishes to attend the summit
Now in its second year, the annual Engineering Summit Africa focuses on addressing key economic and development issues in line with engineering and technology applications.
Billed to take place on June 15 in Lagos, the summit brings together business leaders, techpreneurs, innovators, students, policy makers and subject matter experts in one place.
It would provide an opportunity for them to share leading practices and knowledge, spark quality conversations and explore tech trends that will shape conversations across how emerging technologies will help optimise growth of various sectors of the economy.
The key industries to be explored at the summit include: Power and Energy, Healthcare, Agriculture, Oil and Gas, Transportation, Artificial intelligence and Internet of Things.
There will also be a special focus on SME Forum which has been designed to drive conversations around how small and medium businesses can adopt best strategies for scaling up their growth. Over 1,000 business representatives from both private and public sectors will be discussing ideas, networking and sharing hands-on experience.
The Engineering Summit Africa would feature keynote speeches and moderated forums. Delegates will be encouraged to interact, exchange ideas and foster relationships.
The summit which would hold at the Main Auditorium of the Lagos State University is open to persons interested in understanding discovery, innovation, development, and research as it borders on technology and registration it totally free.
