Oppo is Fast Covering the Nigerian Market
Speaking at the occasion, the Marketing Manager, Oppo Mobile Nigeria, Nengi Akinola pointed out that although the brand is less than 6 months old in the Nigerian market, Oppo has been playing in the global space since 2004. The brand, renowned in India and many other emerging economies, is a trusted name.

She explained that Oppo has expanded its product reach to four out of the six Nigerian regions: Southwest, Southeast, Southsouth and the Northcentral. According to her, the brand has also been able to reach users across the country using popular eCommerce platforms, Jumia and Konga.
Responding to questions on the after-sales support structure of Oppo in Nigeria Joseph Adeola explained that Oppo has 2 repair centres in Lagos and has plans to expand the touchpoints going forward. He also added that every Oppo device comes with a 2-year warranty to cover for factory caused damages or non-self inflicted damages on the devices.

With multiple devices released on a continued basis coupled with an influx of devices from many unknown sellers, Oppo is hoping to hold its own with the introduction of the A1k and A5s phones. With its recent experience, this projection may not be far from what its future holds.
