Haktoberfest Bonny Island

Hacktoberfest Bonny Island takes place during the month-long celebration of open-source software.

This edition is open to developers, tech enthusiasts and startups with an interest in the tech ecosystem of the state who want to contribute to the open source space.

Women in Tech Africa-Kenya Chapter 

The third Women in Tech Week will be held in Nairobi this week. Themed “Scaling Technology in Africa”, the event will include talks, panel discussions and workshops around Women, Leadership, Technology, Innovation, Entrepreneurship and the African Continent.

Venue: Pinetree Plaza, Nairobi, Kenya.

eLearning Africa

A networking event for ICT supported education, training and skills development in Africa, eLearning Africa is in its 14th edition. The event brings together high-level policy makers, decision makers and practitioners from education, business and government.

This is to forge an alliance of stakeholders committed to the future of education in Africa.

Venue: Hotel Ivoire Sofitel, Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.

Epic Hour

An event for the Lagos tech community to learn and network, Epic Hour brings individuals with specific knowledge of the industry to speak to participants.

For this October edition, Epic Hour will be featuring Adewale Yusuf, Founder/CEO of Techpoint.africa, to talk about the importance of media in building Nigeria’s tech startup ecosystem.
