Are You a Code Ninja Interested in Building the Bank of the Future? Apply for Hack to Bank Challenge, to become a Programmer at Sterling

Sterling Bank has opened application for its Hack to Bank Challenge.
The hackathon is designed to bring together talented and creative problem solvers interested in building the bank of the future.

The competition which is designed as a code battle is calling on all classes of programmers from Front-end to Back-end developers and even Technical writers to enter for it.

The coding battle is aimed at finding talented coders who can build cutting edge products that can be used by Sterling bank’s customers and can also ship in codes at a rapid pace.

Selected applicants will engage in a code battle that will see them try to hack Sterling bank. The details of the ‘Hack to bank’ challenge is a scenario where the code ninjas are recruited to a mythical Hacker’s Island where they will help retrieve a stolen file.

Welcome to Hackers’ Island Mission:

General Stallion has stolen some secret files from the CodeBank, he now commands a secret force of allies hidden deep in the forest of Hacker’s Island.

Your ultimate task is to recover the secret files hidden at Hacker’s Island in a CodeBattle. We are recruiting for CodeBattle! From Hacker’s Island

The applicants will go through a screening process and an online technical assessment before they will be selected to participate in the challenge.

The selected participants will be divided into teams including a Frontend engineer who will represent the Infantry, DevOps engineer as Rangers, Backend engineer as Artillery, UI/UX Specialist as Intelligence, Mobile Developer as Snipers, BlockChain Engineer as Special Forces and Technical Writer as Cryptologic Analyst

The hackathon termed “Hack To A JOB” will hold for a period of 4 days. An initial 48 hours hackathon where all codes are checked will be followed by a two-day panel presentation and questioning session.

The participants will be rewarded with the following title representing their experiences and skillset.

• Lieutenant (1 – 2 years of proven experience/ equivalent skillset)
• Colonel (3 – 4 years of proven experience/ equivalent skillset)
• General (5 – 8 years of proven experience/ equivalent skillset)

The last 6 standing developers will have the opportunity to join Sterling bank’s army of programmers.
