Digital Youth Summit

National Stakeholders’ Forum On CAMA ACT 2020
On Tuesday, The Institute of Directors Nigeria, along with Corporate Affairs Commission is hosting a National Stakeholders’ Forum On CAMA ACT 2020
Theme: CAMA Act 2020; Matters Arising and The Way Forward.
Due the controversies generated by the new CAMA law, IoD and CAC will be using the forum to give more clarity and engage with various stakeholders for education and enlightenment on the subject matter.
The event will help facilitate a conversation amongst all stakeholders to have a further review of the Act. It will also facilitate the development of a policy and institutional support framework that promotes the inclusion of all stakeholders on all issues emanating from the signing of the Act.
Other agenda include create further awareness on the expectations and requirements of the Act on all stakeholders.

Technical Engineering Webinar
This Wednesday, the Engineering Institute of Technology will be hosting a technical webinar on the smart manufacturing perspective on Transitioning from Industry 4.0 to 5.0.
The adoption of the Industrial Internet of Things (Industry 4.0) has seen a significant growth in recent years due to the availability of massive computing power, innovations in the data-processing technology and the advent of machine learning algorithms.
Therefore, it is important that engineers understand the systems and processes that contribute to Industry 4.0. and become familiar with the advanced automated mode of technology and innovations on the horizon in Industry 5.0.
During the webinar, EIT’s Deputy Dean, Ms Indumathi V and Dr. Akhlaqur Rahman, EIT’s Course Coordinator Industrial Automation Engineering, will provide an insight into transitioning towards industry 5.0.
