LoCS4Africa virtual congress
On Monday, ICLEI Africa’s local climate solution for Africa virtual congress themed, Financing for Change, continues. During the event, experts and stakeholders will respond to the growing acknowledgement that city-scale finance must be mobilised to tackle climate change.
Other items include sessions for sharing ideas and strategies on climate action as well as financing in Africa.
The event will host special dignitaries like Jean Pierre Elong, Secretary-General UCLG Africa, Mohammed Adjei Sowah, Major of Accra among others.

African Innovation Week 2020
This week, the annual African Innovation Week will be held virtually. During the event, innovative startups across the continent will come together and share their experiences with international entrepreneurs.
They will also get to connect with potential investors, executive bodies and game-changers who can work together for sustainable, mutual and inclusive development.
The major goal of the week is to contribute to UN’s 2030 Sustainable Development Goals like No Poverty, Quality Education to all and Gender Equality.


The event will have over 20 panel discussions and 200 pitches featuring over 70 speakers from across the continent.

This event was organised to discuss and keep updates on the cybersecurity culture in Africa. During the event, organizations and experts throughout Africa will share insights and best practices on cybersecurity.
