Africa Day 2021
On Tuesday, UBA Africa Conversation 2021 will be held virtually. Themed “Africa to the World“, the event will host global leaders and key decision-makers of the African economy, who will speak on the future of Africa.
Some of the speakers include Makhtar Diop, Managing Director of the International Finance Corporation (IFC); Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus Director-General World Health Organization (WHO).
Others are Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Director-General of the World Trade Organization; and Paul Kagame, President of Rwanda.

Children’s Day AI+ interactive session for Kids
To mark International Children’s day, Data Science Nigeria will be hosting an AI Interactive Workshop for Children and Teenagers this week
Themed “How to Start a Future in Data Science & AI”, the event includes an Introduction to Basic Coding, Games, Riddles, and Video Sessions
It will also present an opportunity for kids to immerse themselves in the world of Information Technology and get introduced to the basics of Data Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

Africa Day Fest
To celebrate African independence and freedom this year, an interesting group of innovators, creators and industry leaders would converge to have inspiring, insightful, and entertaining Africa-focused conversations.
The event commemorates the first union of African nations on Africa soil, which took place on May 25, 1963.
The event will feature over 80 speakers and 30+ audio experiences. Some of the speakers include Ope Adedeji, Editor-at-Large, Zikoko; Ngozi Odita, Founder AfricaNXT; and David Idagu, Africa Regional Lead, C. Moore Media (CMM).

This week, FITC will be hosting a summit on enhancing the customer experience with Artificial Intelligence.
