#TIP 2021: Get paid as a writer, apply for the Technext Internship Programme

The Technext Internship Program (TIP) is back. This is an exciting opportunity for young individuals with a good command of the English Language and a strong passion for the technology space in Nigeria and Africa who want to start a career in tech journalism.

For the third edition of its internship programme, Technext is introducing an intensive training session to its selection programme.

The top 5 finalists will be hosted between September 1st – 3rd in Lagos for a training session. They will be exposed to an intensive, hands-on training session that will expose them to the world of tech journalism.

In the end, the top 3 writers will be offered a 4-months paid internship with the Technext team with future work prospects for promising candidates.

Eligibility

This opportunity is perfect for individuals hoping to get a few years of work experience before heading out to the industry. It is also perfect for people who want to start their careers in fast-paced environments with a focus on delivering results and making a real difference.

– Be at least 18 years
– Be able to communicate efficiently through writing
– Have basic structures for remote work efficiency
– Be available for the physical training session in Lagos
– Not necessarily have previous professional journalism experience
