November TGIF Tech Connect
This week, the Digital Skill School will be hosting its November TGIF connect event at the Workcity in Lekki. The event is themed “Empowering you for a digital world.”
The event is touted to be a first of its kind Tech Hangout and will be welcoming all, including bloggers, web developers, content creators, photographers, video producers, designers, tech entrepreneurs, etc. in Lagos.
The Digital Skills School continues to hold this event periodically to provide a corporate tech event/hangout for people in the tech industry in Lagos as well as any tech enthusiast.
The event is free and is open to everyone.

This week, Cyberchain will be hosting its creative cyber summit with the theme “Enabling the digital economy.”
This year’s Nigeria’s engaging Cybersecurity and Blockchain Conference will be a hybrid event taking place at the Lagos Oriental Hotel, with live feeds sent virtually.
As the digital economy develops, the Nigerian tech space is witnessing a slew of events. Tech companies are becoming unicorns, many others drawing domestic and international investors, others closing shop, and many more being born.

EDC Healthcare Conference
The Enterprise Development Centre, this week, plans to hold its maiden edition of the Healthcare Conference in partnership with PharmAccess.
The event, which is themed “Talent, Technology & the Nigerian Health Sector,” is an interactive program that aims to address and start critical conversations around the impact of talent and technology on the Nigerian health sector.
The event, to be held at the civic centre in Lagos, will include three panel sessions that will address people, process, and profit; technology as a health enabler; and advancing alternative healthcare financing: A requirement for universal health coverage in Nigeria.
The Enterprise Development Centre also aims to use this event to attract medical practitioners, policymakers, and healthcare enthusiasts towards talent and technology and how they affect the current Nigerian health space.

International Conference on Computing and Advances in Information Technology
The International Conference on Computing and Advances in Information Technology (ICCAIT 2021) will be held at the Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria this week.
The event, themed “Fostering the Digital Economy Through Recent Trends in Information Technology,” will focus on core areas of information and communication technology (ICT).
It will also place a special emphasis on emerging technology and the datafication of society, as well as how these will affect the achievement of sustainable development goals.
ICCAIT 2021 provides a veritable platform for researchers and practitioners from diverse fields to explore their innovative ideas in the multifarious areas of information and communication technology (ICT).
The goal of the conference is to bring together critical stakeholders from academia, industry, and other sectors of information and communication technology to cross-fertilize innovative ideas and to share the results of their research and experiences in the ICT sector.
