Art of Technology 3.O
This week, the Lagos state government will be holding its third annual art of technology conference at the Eko innovation Centre.
The Art of Technology Lagos (AOT) is the most impactful technology conference in Africa, hosted every year in Lagos State, the investment capital of the continent.
The Art of Technology Lagos (AOT) 3.0 coming up this week is expected to gather top government executives, policymakers, investors, founders, business executives and technology enthusiasts.
Over 10,000 people attended the last two worldwide editions of the conference, which included 150 speakers and resulted in choices that have had an irrevocable influence on Lagos State.
This year’s AOT 3.0 will focus on the topic of ‘Funding and A Connected Lagos,’ with an emphasis on investment preparedness, case studies, laws, and policy formulations for the tech sector.
It will be a hybrid event with keynote, plenary, and breakout sessions, and it will be streamed internationally.

Nigeria International Farm & Food Tech Expo
CEMS Nigeria, this week will be holding its annual Nigeria International Farm & Food Tech Expo with this years theme “Implementation of system approach on agricultural resources management for food security in Nigeria.”
The NIFAFO Tech Expo, 2021 is an event by All Farmer Association of Nigeria, (AFAN) and is expected to bring together over 25,000 related stakeholders in Nigeria’s agricultural industry.
The event also plans to give participants an opportunity to source for new distributors, agents, and strategic partners in Nigeria, boost their company branding and market positioning, and search for ways and means to expand their businesses.

Snapdragon Tech Summit 2021
Qualcomm, the chipmaker located in the United States, will be holding its annual Snapdragon Tech Summit this week where it will unveil new chipsets and make other announcements.
The company’s Snapdragon 898, the successor of the Snapdragon 888, is slated to be released at the event as a new flagship processor
The Snapdragon 898 expected to be launched will feature the SM8450 model number and could use ARM’s newest designs.
It is speculated that the company’s new chip will be based on Samsung’s 4nm process that will likely make it faster and more efficient than its predecessor, the Snapdragon 888.
Qualcomm also says the events will showcase industry-leading technology innovations across camera, AI, sound, gaming, and connectivity.
Participants at the event will include Pavan Davuluri, Corporate Vice President, Microsoft Windows and Devices, Ruben Castano, Head of Customer Experience at Motorola, Lei Jun, Founder, Chairman & CEO of Xiaomi amongst many others.
The company will be live-streaming the events on YouTube, Twitter, as well as on its official Qualcomm website.
