I made a review on the service of the OZÉ app with a 4-star rating, I was surprised to receive a call from one of their representatives who explained in detail what I perceived to be a bug. I followed his explanation and my challenge was solved. I wish there was a 10-star rating I would have given OZÉ. OZÉ actually listens to their customers. Kudos.

It has transformed my bookkeeping experience and opened my eyes to how much I am really making and spending. Now I can plan appropriately and manage my expenses where needed. Though it will be nice if we could manage two businesses separately.

This is the second week I’ve not been able to access my account having subscribed for a 6 months plan…What’s the use if I can’t get value for what’s been paid for? Once I log in my details I get the message “Fetching data online” and after a few minutes I get “unable to get your transaction data, TRY AGAIN”. This has been going on for almost two weeks… I’ve forwarded screenshots to one of the agents on WhatsApp yet nothing is been done…I’m already losing my patience. Version 6.6 is what I’m using.

The issue I had with a registration has now been resolved. Although I haven’t started using the app fully, I really like the user interface, it’s quite friendly. Also, the coaching tips I get every day are really helpful, this is what stopped me from uninstalling the app even when I had issues with it. Great job guys!
What we think
OZÉ has features that may help businesses scale. According to the co-founder, Meghan McCormick, “Using OZÉ already screens for the type of entrepreneurs banks should want to lend to. And as entrepreneurs keep using OZÉ, they can access more funds at a lower risk to the bank,”
A favourite feature of this app is access to a business coach and the daily business nuggets.
The OZÉ app has one key unique feature: the daily, weekly or monthly cash overview feature.
This helps the user keep a record of how much the business is owed, how much they owe, and calculate the performance of the business in profits, sales and expenses on either a daily, weekly or monthly basis depending on which is chosen on the app.
OZÉ app also helps the user keep and calculate important specific records such as; the number of sales made, average sale size, number of units sold, average units/sales, even down to the total number of discounts given and your top customer over a selected period.
These calculations and data are put together and made available to the user based on the information they input.
There is also a ‘remind your customers to pay’ feature which when you click takes you to the page where you fill in the amount requested, the mobile number of the customer, and then the name of the account owner. This service isn’t free as you have an option to either pay for it or charge it to the customer to pay.
All these details help the business owner gather enough detail especially when they apply for a loan.
