The most popular reality show in Nigeria, BBNaija, is currently in its seventh season. When the most recent season, Level Up, debuted on July 23 and 24, 2022, it had a different feel because of the 28 contestants, vying for the grand prize of N100m.
There were initially divided into two houses: Level 1 and Level 2.
While the show’s fans have enjoyed the last seven weeks’ worth of twists and surprises, viewers have turned to Google to learn more about the show and their favourite housemates. So far, there have been twelve evictions, two phoney housemates have left, and one housemate has been evicted from the competition.
But, the show continues.
In addition, there have been several housemates who are dominating online searches in various parts of the nation. Surprisingly, Bella, Beauty, and Khalid are the housemates with the most popular searches, despite two of these housemates having already left the show.
Bella
Bella, whose full name is Chidimma Esther Okagbue, has topped Google’s list of the most searched housemates. The BBNaija contestant’s popularity grew in part due to her relationship with a fellow housemate, Sheggz. She has also been in the news for her spats with her housemates.
She and her boyfriend got into an argument with Rachel over food on Sunday, which earned her a strike from Big Brother for provocation. She also had another brawl with Phyna, another housemate, over food yesterday.

Beauty
One of the most popular BBNaija Season 7 housemates is the former Miss Nigeria. Just two weeks into the competition, the beauty queen was eliminated after receiving two strikes from Big Brother. She received two strikes: the first for acting aggressively toward Ilebaye and the second for physically assaulting Groovy during a party on a Saturday night.
The disqualified housemate was involved with Groovy as well. Despite the fact that these tragedies resulted in her disqualification, they did generate a lot of hot subjects for the show’s viewers and encouraged the majority of them to look up the rejected housemates online.
Khalid
In the reality show, Khalid was the second level 2 housemate to be kicked out. During his time on the show, the graphic designer from Plateau State did provide the viewers with hot entertainment, notably with his on-screen romantic encounters with Daniella. With some of their behaviours, the couple generated a lot of discussion and controversy on the show.
People became interested in web searches to discover more about the trends and explore some of their activities in contrast to prior roommates after their actions prompted numerous conversations, even between celebrities.
Other housemates have also topped the list of popular Google searches. The two characters who have garnered the highest search traffic overall are Hermes and Daniella. Dianella has also caused the biggest search surge to date.

Search pattern based on regions
Bella has attracted the most search interest from Lagos, Osun, Kwara, Abuja, Kaduna, and Enugu, while Hermes has drawn the most attention from Plateau, Benue, Ekiti, Delta, and Abia.
Groovy had the most searches in Ondo and Anambra, Daniella is the most popular in Kogi, Cross River, Akwa Ibom, Rivers, Imo, Edo, Ogun, and Oyo.
