Another feature is Dolby Atmos, which provides users with captivating sounds that overheads the users’ experience when watching content on the streaming platform.
Also, the Netflix Calibrated Mode is a new feature developed by Sony picture quality and device experts in collaboration with Netflix colour scientists and is available exclusively on Sony’s BRAVIA MASTER Series A9F OLED and Z9F LED TVs.

New Features to Netflix’s Premium Plan
The two new features are Spatial Audio and the option for more Download devices.
This is a different cinematic sound experience on any device, with no additional equipment needed. With this new feature, users can now enjoy the highest-quality sound when watching a movie or series on their phone, tablet, computer, or TV.
The new feature is currently available on more than 700 of Netflix top watched movies like Stranger Things, The Witcher, Wednesday, and Knives Out: Glass Onion. It will also be included for new but popular titles as they are released, like Tour de France, You, Your Place or Mine, etc.
For premium users, all you need to do to get the feature is to look for the new spatial audio badge on shows and movies or search for spatial audio to get a full list of all the movie/show titles with the feature.
More Download Devices
This is the second new feature launched. It is the ability for more people and multiple devices to connect to a premium account and download Netflix series and films whenever they like.
Before now, premium users could share their accounts across multiple devices, but out of all the members, only four can download content on the site. However, with these new features, the number of download devices has increased to six for premium members only.
This is coming a day after the streaming giant shared its new anti-password sharing measures. The platform explained how it aims to maintain password sharing within a household while cracking down on outside usage.
The streaming giant has shared terms detailing how it plans to control the experience within a household. It has updated its FAQ pages for countries where it is already testing extra membership fees for account sharing — Chile, Costa Rica and Peru
These new terms ask people to define a primary location through their TV. All the accounts and devices should be connected to the same Wi-Fi as the TV.
“A primary location is set by a TV that is signed into your account and is connected to your Wi-Fi network. All other devices signed into your account on that Wi-Fi network will be associated with your primary location and will be able to use Netflix,” it says.
