Gozem, the African super app operating in francophone west and central Africa, has partnered with DT One, a leading provider of digital transfer solutions, to launch a new airtime recharge service.
With DT One’s technology integration, Gozem users can now easily recharge their loved ones’ mobile airtime directly from the app’s integrated wallet. According to a statement seen by Technext, the service will initially be available in Benin, with plans to expand to other countries.

About Gozem
Gozem was founded by Gregory Costamagna, Raphael Dana and Emeka Ajene. The startup started operations in Togo in 2018 as a motorcycle ride-hailing service. It’s a model other super app companies across Africa have adopted, such as Nigeria’s OPay and SafeBoda, more recently. Other players like North Africa-focused Yassir are also looking to offer banking and payment services.
