This exam which is part of the preparatory process towards the main exam coming later this year is to allow applicants to get acquainted with the exam boards’ modus operandi and the standard of examination to expect when they eventually sit later this year.

How to print the 2023 Mock JAMB slip

Visit the JAMB registration site

For the registration process and the printing of various slips, JAMB has directed all candidates to always visit the examination body’s website to get credible information and preview their process. Hence, to print the mock examination slip, candidates must visit Jamb’s official website, https://www.jamb.gov.ng.

Click on the CAPS (Candidate) E-facility

To get the drop-down button for printing the slip for the mock examination, candidates should first hover their mouse around or click the CAPS (candidate) E-facility tab. This tab then drops to the 2023 Mock examination printing slip tab, which they can click to move to the next stage.

Input registration number/e-Mail

Clicking on the tab redirects to another page where candidates are to input their jamb registration number or e-mail, which has been assigned to them during their registration process for the UTME exams.

When this is done, a candidate’s slip appears and can be printed in a document format afterwards. Candidates should note that the notification slip contains the candidate’s registration number, venue, date and time of the examination.

According to JAMB, this would enable candidates to locate their centres before the examination easily.

Additionally, candidates have been urged to be at their examination centres one hour before the exam to complete biometric verification. The board also reaffirmed its zero-tolerance policy for exam fraud and stressed the importance of the exam’s scheduled start time.

“In the same vein, candidates are advised against going into the examination halls with prohibited items such as wristwatches, calculators, flash drives, and phones, among others.

“They are also warned to desist from the application of “laale” to do fancied drawings and paintings on their hands to avoid unnecessary interference with the whorls of their fingers which could impede biometric verification”, the statement adds.

To avoid doubt, the mock exam will be computer-based and hence does not require any form of material for writing other than that provided by the examination board.
