Every month, I take it upon myself to share some of the events that tech enthusiasts across the world would love to attend, and here is the instalment for June. We are in the middle of the year already, and the tech space has had an eventful few months with several raises, few announcements, product launches as well as some controversies that have brought bubble to the space.
Even more so, there have been a few founder partnerships and collaborations during the past few months. Surprisingly, some of these relationships developed due to engagements, while others came about due to events.
One such event that has resulted in partnerships, and insightful discourse and has brought founders, CEOs, and company executives together to share knowledge and industry information, is the Technext Convo. It is a quarterly event that brings together no more than 100 stakeholders in the Nigerian tech ecosystem to meet, greet, and share knowledge.
Events have become pivotal to leveraging the advantages of the spotlight to bring the whole ecosystem together for a few hours or days. These conferences and summits help companies or individuals to conquer the challenges of geographical distances, and accessibility.

Co-Create Africa Tech Exhibition 2023

Open Source Festival, 2023
Open Source Festival is a high-profile event that attracts student delegates, developers, designers and corporate organizations on a large scale with a series of talks, workshops, and awareness of open-sourced developer tools.
The second edition is going to be a forum for networking, discussions and ideas proration around the latest happenings in technology as well as the growth of open source in Africa.
The festival is a component of the distinctive initiative run by the Open Source Community Africa, a group dedicated to fostering and advancing the open-source movement in Africa. While fervently supporting the movement of free and open-source software, the community seeks to assist African developers in integrating the act of contributing to open-source projects.

Africa Tech Summit London 2023

Elevate 2.0
