Did you hear the news? Johnny Drille is married! Like how??? The surprise has left everyone with endless questions. Of course, we’re genuinely happy for him, but the sudden revelation has truly caught us off guard.

Although, there was recent speculation that he was dating Tomi Ojo, and the mere thought of it broke the hearts of many fans but it later turned out to be a PR stunt for a song. However, it seems like Johnny Drille has grown tired of such gimmicks and just wants to freely express and experience love.

Last week, Don Jazzy posted on Instagram about Johnny Drille’s new song, accompanied by a picture of Johnny Drille in a suit and a girl in a wedding gown. Initially, we thought it was another publicity stunt, but it turns out that the couple has been married since 2022, and he used his wife as his muse in the new song. Ahh, Johnny Drille, nice one.

But honestly, we have to give credit to Johnny Drille’s friends and family because they’ve been the real OGs in keeping this private. Some fans have decided to move on from the heartbreak and accept the reality, while others are still processing the news and are in a state of shock.

Nigerians threading on Threads app

Last week felt like Elon Musk served a quit notice as his Twitter users scrambled for alternatives in the face of the tweet viewing limit.

I’ve never felt the need to manage my tweet views, but hey, it’s Elon Musk we’re talking about here. Amidst the drama, Nigerians discovered Truth Social, Donald Trump’s Twitter alternative, and it was like witnessing a revelation.

However, the influx of Twitter refugees seeking shelter in the app proved too overwhelming, causing a crash. In no time, Meta responded by releasing Threads, a strikingly similar app to Twitter, and let me tell you, people sprinted to join so fast that Twitter promptly sued Meta for its new creation.

Nevertheless, Nigerians including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu settled comfortably on Threads, So, will Threads emerge victorious and overshadow Twitter? Truth Social could not so let the war begin.

At this juncture, a colleague of mine proposed a face-off between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg, where the loser surrenders their social media platform. I fully support that idea. What are your thoughts?

So, JAMB is right and Mmesoma Ejikeme is wrong

The matter surrounding Mmesoma and the alleged manipulation of her JAMB result has been a prolonged and exhausting ordeal but it seems to have come to an end. Not going to lie, there has been a back-and-forth debate regarding whether Mmesoma manipulated her result or if the fault lies with JAMB itself.

Initially, Mmesoma gained attention in the news when JAMB refuted her claim of being the highest scorer in the 2023 UTME, stating that she scored 249 instead of the 362 she had claimed. However, Mmesoma released a video defending her position, sparking a significant controversy.

The situation escalated further as social media users divided into different camps, with some offering unwavering support to Mmesoma while others sided with JAMB. Unfortunately, this disagreement led to tribalistic attacks and heightened tensions. In response to the uproar, Governor Charles Soludo of Anambra established a committee to investigate the matter.

Well based on findings by the committee, Mmesoma has admitted that she had indeed manipulated the results herself using her Airtel phone number. Although this revelation took the situation in a different direction, some individuals still hold the belief that she was coerced into admitting her actions.

But Keke Palmer, you are a mom

If it was in Nigeria now, the perfect dress code for her, Keke Palmer as a mother, would have been an Adieu Shirt paired with a campaign wrapper, an ensemble that blends “elegance” with tradition. Can you imagine not being able to be yourself? I thought that is what America stands for.

Well, I guess her baby daddy, Darius Daulton does not see things that way. So for context, the drama started after a video surfaced of Keke Palmer dressed in a black dress at an Usher’s show. She is also a huge fan girl which is understandable because it is USHER.

In the video, it seemed as though she was having a private concert with Usher as she was on stage, holding him and dancing while he sang to her. Not gonna lie, maybe it was a little too much for someone who has a baby daddy but being a fan girl is not a crime.

Well, Darius, her baby daddy sort of overlooked the performance and went straight to her outfit choice. He took to social media to express his disapproval of Keke’s outfit, accusing her of disrespecting him and their family. As a traditional man, he believed it was his duty to safeguard the honour of his family of which Keke Palmer is a part now they have a child together.

Nevertheless, the extent of his audacity became apparent as he publicly aired his grievances on social media, causing a stir among people who felt he had crossed the line. The dragging has been unending causing him to even deactivate his social media accounts and delete pictures of him and Keke on his accounts.
