Treepz, one of Africa’s leading car-sharing and rental providers, has announced a partner program that is intended for travel agencies, event hosts, and the hospitality scene at large. This new initiative will be available to clients in Nigeria, Ghana, and Kenya.
Treepz expects this to create fresh opportunities for collaboration, profit generation, and better service delivery. In a press release seen by Technext, Treepz claims the partner program is a solution for the long-standing ground transportation needs of those in the hospitality industry. Tourists and business travelers often rely on taxis to move around. Providing them with a trustworthy platform is Treepz’s goal for this project.
According to Treepz, participants in the new program will enjoy several benefits. They’ll gain access to a wide selection of cars during the booking phase. They can also integrate car rental as a service in their service offerings to customers. Treepz will provide a discount worth up to 10% on the cost of each rental.
Each group will also come with rental insurance for no extra fee. The program will also allow participants to customize rental bundles featuring customer locations, discount codes, and pricing. Those who sign up for the initiative also get to “market their offerings to Treepz’s extensive guest community.” Interested partners can join the program by completing this form.
The company said that its vast network of on-demand rental vehicles will now cater to the mobility needs of industry stakeholders like travel agencies and event hosts. Regarding the partner program, CEO Onyeka Akumah reveals that it “opens up new revenue streams for travel and hospitality players and is a testament to our commitment to investing in the overall growth of the travel ecosystem using technology.”

What Treepz new offering means for the hospitality scene
Two months ago, Treepz switched from being a bus-hailing company to providing car-sharing services. People can now rent and reserve cars online through its platform. Taking this to travel agencies and other hospitality industry players is a smart strategy considering that the above relies greatly on transportation.
It also enables them to have a broader customer base and also a steady inflow of revenue. Treepz’s presence in different countries before this program launch is a good thing as it will enable the company to deepen its presence in those markets. Although the above benefits seem like a great bargain, perhaps it’s best to see how the program does within a few months to gauge its performance.
