Ojoma Ochai replaces Bosun Tijani as Managing Director of Co-creation Hub (CcHub)

Africa’s largest innovation centre, Co-creation Hub (CcHUB), has appointed Ojoma Ochai as its new Managing Director. This decision comes as former CEO Bosun Tijani transitions commendably to serve as Nigeria’s Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy.

Ochai, formerly Managing Partner at CcHUB’s Creative Economy Practice, is celebrated for her influential role in nurturing Nigeria’s growing creative industries. With nearly two decades of experience in the creative and technology sectors, Ojoma Ochai is recognized as a trailblazer, driving innovative solutions and elevating Africa’s creative landscape.

Speaking about the appointment, Funke Opeke, Chairperson of the CcHUB Board says Ojoma’s proven track record and strategic leadership are exactly what the hub needs to continue building on its mission of contributing to African prosperity through innovation.

“We are delighted to have Ojoma step up as the new Managing Director of CcHUB. Her commitment to achieving social change through innovation and creativity is key to what CcHUB represents,” Funke Opeke said.

With Ojoma Ochai assuming the role of Managing Director, CcHUB is poised for expansion, aiming to enhance collaborations with a diverse array of partners, solidify its Pan-African presence, and further amplify its influence in bolstering the innovation ecosystem across the continent.

Ojoma Ochai spearheading Co-creation Hub’s mission and growth

Co-Creation Hub, Africa’s premier technology innovation ecosystem builder, is dedicated to accelerating the application of science, technology, and social capital for economic prosperity across the continent.

Initially founded in 2010 as Nigeria’s leading innovation centre, CcHUB has expanded its physical presence to six cities across Africa, including Lagos, Abuja, Ijebu-Ode, Kigali, Nairobi, and Windhoek.

Collaborating with stakeholders such as entrepreneurs, civil society organizations, government, and the private sector, CcHUB is committed to identifying and nurturing innovative solutions to social challenges in Africa.
