Before discussing the Banana game, let’s give a brief background. One of the innovations Web3 enthusiasts have come to terms with in 2024 is Telegram-based games.
A handful of Web3 games have been built on the messaging app, Telegram recently and successfully launched. And, there are a lot more similar apps in the development stage with launch dates already announced. The recurring pattern of these games is the rewards users enjoy for leisure activities.
For instance, Notcoin gave out tokens to users for tapping their screens while $DOGS rewarded people for having Telegram accounts.
Technext has written about the launch of Notcoin, TapSwap, Hamster Kombat, Blum and others. Banana is another Telegram-based game whose popularity has surged among Nigerians recently.
In this article, we will discuss all you need to know about this new Web3 game and how to make instant money from it.
What is the Banana game?
Launched in July 2024, the Banana game is powered by CARVS, a blockchain data protocol designed for gaming and AI projects. The protocol facilitates data verification, identity authentication, processing, storage, model training, and value distribution, among other end-to-end data flow procedures.

The telegram mini-app game, which reportedly has over 10 million players, is CARVS’s first incubated project. Basically, the game is built with a TON ecosystem where the players tap on the fruit, earn points and unlock collectables.
Victor Yu, CARV’s co-founder, stresses the goal of creating a dynamic data ecosystem that supports sustainable and high-performance applications in the gaming sector. Also, according to the Chief Growth Officer of the protocol, Leo Li:
“We have observed a rapid accumulation of users within the TON ecosystem. Through BANANA, we aim to reach a broader demographic, accumulate valuable user data for CARV Protocol, and empower these users with data sovereignty, allowing them to partake in the value generated by their data. BANANA is just one of the many games that CARV will collaborate on to launch exclusively within the TON ecosystem in the near future.”
How the game works
The Banana game is powered by a Telegram bot, it runs as a mini-app on Telegram. Although it is similar to other games, it is more straightforward.
In simple terms, users can earn Banana Peels by tapping repeatedly on the interface of the game and buying a variety of colourful bananas with their earned PEELS. The more clicks a player has in the game, the more PEELS they earn.
Another way to earn in the game is to refer friends and complete various tasks.
To provide more information on how to earn in the game, after earning PEELS, players can use it to buy a digital picture which can be sold for $USDT through the in-app marketplace or a peer-to-peer transaction.
The rarer the digital banana is, the higher its price. It is still unclear though if these digital assets are minted on the blockchain as NFTs. The most limited Banana Matrixnana can be sold for $500.

It is however worth noting that there is only a limited number of taps allowed per day. Also, getting social tasks done on the task page is a way to earn more PEELs.
Afterwards, you can tap the bag icon to see the digital bananas that can be bought with earned PEELs. Buy them so you can sell them for $USDT. You can also earn more Digital Bananas that can be exchanged for $USDT by referring new users.
