EMOSIM unveils Nigeria’s first travel eSim to pioneer borderless connectivity

EmoSIM, Nigeria’s first outbound-call and travel eSIM, was officially launched today in Lagos. Developed by homegrown innovators at Consistent Energy, the eSIM delivers seamless voice, SMS, and data coverage in over 190 countries, no physical SIM cards, airport queues, or surprise roaming fees required.

“Connectivity is not a luxury, it’s a lifeline,” said Jimmy Eboma, Founder and Chairman of EmoSIM, at the unveiling ceremony. “With a single tap, Nigerians and international travellers activate instant access to the world: no swaps, no shocks, no borders. This is Nigerian ingenuity engineered for you.”

EmoSIM is Nigeria’s first outbound-call and travel eSIM platform, designed to democratise global connectivity. By leveraging cutting-edge eSIM technology and robust international partnerships, the company makes the world feel smaller, safer, and more accessible for travellers, businesses, and diaspora communities

Its mission extends beyond convenience. “We’re empowering an entire ecosystem,” Eboma continued. “Budget-conscious travellers stay connected affordably. Businesses expand across continents with frictionless communication. Families bridge distances through shared moments of voice, text, and data.”

A fireside chat at the launch event, moderated by Karn Gulati, CEO of EmoSIM, explored the future of Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs) in Nigeria.
