Zindi, the leading professional network platform for data scientists and AI developers in Africa, has become one of the sponsors for the AI for Good Summit 2025, taking place in Geneva from 8 to 11 July 2025.
The summit will be hosted by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in collaboration with 40 different United Nations agencies. The goal is to bring together global leaders in AI to drive progress on the UN’s sustainable development goals (SDGs).
Zindi sponsored the summit as part of its commitment to bridge the global AI divide and elevate African talent, solutions, and voices from the global south on the world stage.
The AI for Good Summit 2025 is a high-level convening point for policymakers, researchers, startups, and industry leaders from all over the world. Zindi’s involvement as a sponsor will ensure that African perspectives and contributions are represented in crucial conversations about the future of artificial intelligence.
Zindi will also be promoting responsible AI development that serves not only Africa but the global community.

At the event, Zindi will showcase AI success stories from Africa and engage with partners who are interested in advancing AI education and workforce development across emerging markets. Zindi will also connect investors and policymakers with Africa’s most promising AI talents and innovations.
This sponsorship aligns with Zindi’s mission to build a thriving AI ecosystem that empowers young AI developers around the world to solve pressing sectoral problems in health, education, agriculture, climate, and financial inclusion.
The platform hosts regular AI competitions, bootcamps, and capacity-building initiatives designed to equip AI developers and up-and-comers in the field with the tools and opportunities they need to succeed.
Aside from the opportunity it provides to African AI talent, Zindi’s sponsorship also supports a broader advocacy for equitable access to AI infrastructure, funding, and policy frameworks that allow all regions to participate meaningfully in the AI revolution. This is part of its vision in a world where African developers are not only users of AI technologies but also leaders in their development and deployment.
The AI for Good Summit 2025 is taking place at the International Conference Centre Geneva (CICG), and it will feature over 300 speakers, exhibitions, startup showcases, and interactive workshops.
