There’s a kind of business lesson that only comes from doing things the hard way. You don’t learn it in a classroom. You learn it when a vulnerable client’s medication hasn’t been administered, your staff insists they were there, and you have no way to prove otherwise until a formal complaint lands on your desk.
That’s the story behind Radiant diGilog. And it’s exactly why this platform deserves your attention.
Founded by Tayo Babatunde, a UK-based Nigerian entrepreneur who ran a home care business contracted to local government authorities from 2010. Staff were managing client visits, medications, and care plans entirely on paper. The consequences were predictable: at its worst, the business was receiving six or seven formal safeguarding complaints a month, regulatory flags that threatened its operating license.
The fix came from adopting a digital workforce management tool. Overnight, managers could see in real time who was on-site, what had been completed, and what had been missed. Accountability changed the culture. Safeguarding complaints dropped to near zero.

Years later, when the founder tried expanding the care model to Nigeria, the story repeated itself, but this time the available tools were either too expensive, too complex, or not designed for the African market. The Nigerian operation eventually closed, largely because there was no way to maintain oversight of a team being managed remotely from the UK.
Having previously built a digital banking application, the founder decided to build the platform she wished had always existed, and Radiant diGilog was the result.
“We decided, because we have used several software programs, we’ve seen the good ones, the bad ones, the expensive ones, the affordable ones, the simple ones, and the complex ones, and taken the pros and cons and the weaknesses in each of those that we have used. We decided to now go into software to build it, building the platform ourselves,” Mrs Babatunde explains.

What Radiant diGilog really does
Radiant diGilog brings workforce management into one connected system, eliminating the mix of spreadsheets, WhatsApp threads, and paper logs that most African SMEs still rely on.
- diGi-Time handles clock-ins and clock-outs and generates timesheets automatically. For field staff, location-verified attendance means managers always know who was actually where.
- diGi-Rota is the scheduling engine that resolves shift conflicts automatically and provides managers with a visual overview of the entire workforce across locations and departments.
- diGi-Board is the task and project management module. Managers assign tasks with deadlines, staff update progress, and the system logs everything: when tasks were started and completed and whether they were delivered on time.
- diGi-Off manages leave requests and time-off approvals, with full compliance tracking built in. DiGi-Chat keeps team communication in-platform, creating a searchable, auditable record. DiGi-Pay calculates payroll automatically based on actual hours worked. DiGi-Form digitises the paper forms still circulating in far too many organisations. And the HR module centralises onboarding and employee records.
Tying it all together is a reports & analytics engine that turns daily platform activity into productivity data, task completion rates, attendance patterns, and workforce performance metrics generated without anyone having to compile a spreadsheet.

The feature that changes decision-making
The productivity analytics engine may be the platform’s most quietly powerful tool. In most organisations, promotions and performance reviews are shaped by who is visible, who the manager likes, and whose good work gets noticed. The 20% of staff quietly carrying the team often go unrewarded until they leave.
Because diGilog logs every task, assigned, due, and completed, it builds an unbiased performance record over time. A manager can pull 12 months of data and see, objectively, who consistently delivers and who consistently falls behind.
“You don’t even leave people’s opinions before you make a business decision anymore,” the founder said at the platform’s launch. “The system doesn’t like or dislike anyone.”
In environments where favouritism and invisible hard work are both real problems, that kind of data-driven accountability matters.
Built for Nigeria’s realities
Anyone deploying digital tools in Nigeria has had the connectivity conversation. What happens when there’s no network?
The team are actively building offline capability into core features; clock-ins, for instance, can work without a live connection and sync automatically once connectivity is restored. It’s still being expanded across the platform, but the intent is clear: this was built with the Nigerian operational environment in mind from the start.

There’s also a dedicated in-house engineering team available around the clock. When something breaks, there’s a real person to fix it, not a support ticket queue.
Pricing and plans
Three plans are currently available. The Starter Plan covers scheduling, attendance, leave management, staff directory, and basic reporting; it’s built for small businesses and startups, replacing spreadsheets. The Pro Plan adds diGi-Chat, diGi-Board, location tracking, geofencing, compliance tools, and multi-location support, targeting healthcare, hospitality, logistics, and construction.
The Advanced Plan adds recruitment, digital signatures, expense tracking, API integrations, and custom workflows for large, multi-site operations.
An enterprise tier with fully custom builds is expected in 2027. Exact pricing requires signing up or booking a demo, but the tiered structure is clearly designed to grow with a business rather than lock SMEs out of the tools they need.
Who should be using this?
Radiant diGilog is most immediately valuable for healthcare providers, field and mobile workforces, growing SMEs that have outgrown group chats, and any business where accountability and operational visibility are genuine pain points.
If you are managing 10 or more people across a combination of phone calls, paper, and spreadsheets, this platform was built specifically for you.
What makes Radiant diGilog stand out is not just what it does, but why it was built. The founder didn’t identify a market gap from a report; she ran real businesses, hit every wall a manual system could throw at her, and built what she wished had existed. That origin tends to produce tools that work in the real world.
