Cube Cover, a Tasala Insurance Broker Company, has launched a device protection service in partnership with Slot Systems Limited, Nigeria’s largest mobile device retail and distribution company.

This launch comes amid rising smartphone adoption and increasing repair costs in Nigeria, factors that have spurred demand for device protection services.

The partnership introduced ‘SUPER FIX’ a device protection product aimed at simplifying access to device protection and repair services for smartphone users. According to the companies, the service combines digital onboarding, repair approvals and access to repair centres through SLOT’s retail and service network nationwide.

Under the arrangement, customers can purchase the Super Fix protection plan at participating Slot stores across the country from as low as ₦5,000 annually and access repairs at authorised Slot repair centres.

Cube Cover informed that eligible repair claims would be processed through its automated platform, enabling instant approvals for qualifying cases.

The service is supported by the Cube Cover mobile application, which offers digital onboarding, policy management, a repair shop locator and a pre-approval feature that allows users to initiate and monitor repair requests before visiting a repair centre.

Speaking on the collaboration, Co-founder of Cube Cover, Mr. Deji Macaulay said the move reflects efforts to simplify device protection through automation and digital processes.
