MandatesVR Partners with Cubbes to Power Immersive Learning Across Africa with “Vrill”

MandatesVR, the African VR technology startup pioneering immersive infrastructure for education and industry, has announced a major partnership with Cubbes, one of Nigeria’s leading EdTech platforms with over 50,000 daily active users. This collaboration marks MandatesVR’s official entry into the EdTech sector, with the launch of Vrill, its flagship immersive learning platform built to transform how students and professionals learn and upskill across Africa.

Vrill makes learning deeply interactive by combining virtual reality, 3D simulations, and AI tutors to bring science and engineering concepts to life. Through the partnership, Cubbes’ users will gain access to immersive labs and interactive 3D models that make complex subjects like physics, chemistry, and mechanical engineering more engaging and practical.

“Education in Africa is at a turning point,” said Jeffrey Uzoka, CEO and Co-founder of MandatesVR. “Our collaboration with Cubbes ensures that students can experience learning beyond textbooks. By combining the accessibility of digital platforms with the power of immersion, we’re reimagining how education can prepare the next generation for real-world challenges.”

“With Vrill, students can spend less time imagining and more time experiencing,” added Daniel Bawa, COO and Co-founder of MandatesVR. “Instead of staring at flat images of a rocket engine, for example, they can Vrill the model; rotate it, explore how it works, and truly understand it. That’s the future of learning.”

The partnership directly supports United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) by promoting inclusive, practical, and lifelong learning opportunities for all. Through immersive 3D education, MandatesVR and Cubbes aim to bridge the gap between theory and practice, empowering learners with skills that drive innovation and employability.

This announcement also comes as MandatesVR confirms a $50,000 pre-seed raise, aimed at scaling Vrill’s reach across schools, universities, and professional training programs. The funding will accelerate the development of its AI-driven learning engine and content library, ensuring millions of students can access immersive, high-quality education experiences.

“Cubbes has always been about enabling quality learning for all,” said a Peter Adeyemi, CEO and Co-Founder. “By integrating Vrill, we’re turning abstract ideas into tangible experiences and giving learners the tools to explore, understand, and apply what they learn.”

MandatesVR’s entry into the education sector with Vrill reinforces its mission to build Africa’s immersive technology backbone; enabling practical, inclusive, and world-class learning experiences at scale.
