The Future Leaders of Today
This week, techuncode will be hosting an event with the theme “the future leaders of today” at the Tayo Aderinokun lecture theatre of the University of Lagos.
The event aims to provide important answers regarding creating an ecosystem where young and enterprising students can become what they imagine they can be.
The future leaders of today’s summit will also aim to fill the educational skill gap in Africa to make Nigerian youth job-ready on a global scale, build more professionals in the tech industry, and prepare African undergraduates and graduates for the tech world, the future of work.
The youth are the future, which is why we are motivated to take bold steps in making renewed commitments to support the youth as collaborators with the tech ecosystem. The time to prepare the young for the future of work is now.
Attendees at the event will also have training on capacity buildings and how to create more job opportunities.

Tech Summit Ogun
The tech summit Ogun will be holding its 2022 edition this week on the theme “Disruptive Innovation: Production and Distribution of Creative Content”.
Following the pandemic’s tremendous shift in the digital arena, content creation in Africa is adopting a new direction. To that end, Tech Summit Ogun 2022, the greatest gathering of tech disruptors, creatives, innovators, entrepreneurs, organizations, and technology aficionados in Ogun State, Nigeria, will be held.
Thanks to the outcomes of the maiden TechSummit Ogun 2018 and its sequel in 2019, the state has subsequently seen the creation of projects, companies, and enterprises employing technology to tackle challenges, thanks to the waking of the tech ecosystem in Ogun State.
In past versions of the event, over 1,600 people attended, including organizations and prospective disruptors. Solutions for driving digital breakthroughs and growth from the early stages of technology innovation were reviewed during the summit.
Topics such as innovation and start-ups, education, innovation, and funding, and innovation and digital media will be among the solutions presented by the speakers at this year’s conference.

Global Power Platform Bootcamp, Ibadan
The Nigeria Power Platform Oyo User Group will be hosting its periodic Power Platform Festival this week in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital.
The Bootcamp is a free event, driven by user groups and communities around the world, for anyone who wants to learn more about Microsoft’s Power Platform.
At this boot camp, the organizers will deep-dive into Microsoft’s Power Platform stack with hands-on sessions and labs, delivered to attendees by the experts and community leaders.
Spreadsheet Boot Camp will provide learners with the foundational information they need to grasp what Excel can do. While users may not use every feature right away, many of the subjects covered will aid in navigating the app successfully in today’s data-driven environment.

The Business of Law Conference 4.0
This week, strictly law business will be holding the business of law conference 4.0 with the theme “the use of technology in the practice and business of law”.
The current conditions and developments that have occurred throughout the world have highlighted the growing necessity to use technology in the delivery of professional services, including legal services.
The focus of the discussion will be on ways to improve and automate legal operations, law practice, and services to increase efficiency, productivity, and profitability. The friendly panellists will include members of the court, IT corporations, leading legal firms, and law firm managers.
Three panel sessions will be held at the conference. The first of which will focus on digital transformation in the justice system. There will also be an opportunity for questions and answers.
