Ruger shades BNXN, gets dragged
Conversations, including harsh comments, began on Twitter when singer, Ruger, held a question and answer segment and was told that BNXN was better than him. This apparently triggered Ruger, who responded:
I love Buju, and he’s good, but not better than me. Everything I’ve done since the beginning was only RUGER. All my hits are JUST RUGER. I’m always proud going on stage around the world with my own hits, and everyone is singing along. You see the difference?
Ruger
The tweet was bait and Ruger fell for it and he’s getting dragged for claiming he is better than another artiste.

Meanwhile, June/July may not be the month for Nigeria’s tech industry. While we were still trying to understand Flutterwave’s travails, Korapay walked into the room.
Korapay was mentioned in money-laundering accusations
A report by Kenyan news outlet, The Standard stated that the High Court froze three bank accounts belonging to Korapay and Kandon Technologies Limited with sums totalling about Sh45 million ($381,065.29) over suspicion of foreign laundering by the Kenyan Asset Recovery Agency (ARA).
Lady Justice Esther Maina, the presiding judge, issued orders in two separate suits filed by the ARA.
In the first case, Korapay Technologies Ltd’s Equity Bank account was frozen for $249,990 (Sh29.5 million). In the second case against Kandon Technologies Ltd, Sh15 million was frozen in two UBA bank accounts.
Korapay has denied the accusations and in a statement to Technext, Korapay’s spokesperson and head of marketing, Gbenga Onalaja claimed that the accusations are absolutely untrue and that the company will release a statement to back up its claim.
