To support more startups access working capital to boost the growth of their business operations in Nigeria, the UNIDO Investment and Technology Promotion Offices (ITPOs) and FSDH Merchant Bank have partnered to launch an exclusive Deal Room for startups to structure their access to capital with Financiers and Investors.
The Deal Room is designed to enable startups who have been in operation for a minimum of 2 years and have significant traction to gain access to working capital to continue their business operations while accessing networks and the necessary insight to keep navigating amidst the tough economic climate.
Only Selected startups will participate in this exclusive room. Selected startups will also undergo a closed-door selection process to gain an invite into the room to access both equity and debt financing
To be eligible, Startups need to meet the following criteria:
- Must have been in operation for a minimum 2 years
- Should be generating significant Revenue/traction/Turnover
- Should be operational in Nigeria or looking to operate in Nigeria
- Should be willing to securitize funding/Capital
- Having a Female co-founder/ Female managed business is a plus
- Should be willing to partner/transact leveraging FSDH Merchant Bank
